Cataract Clinic

The Cataract Clinic is a specialist unit within The London Day Surgery Centre. Technically advanced surgical methods used at the Centre can restore a patient’s vision in a painless 15 minutes procedure. The person being treated can expect to leave the centre shortly after their treatment and can resume their normal way of life as quickly as the next day.

The Cataract Clinic operates a unique see and treat, same day service. Patients can be collected from home and after a pre-operative assessment, and providing they are suitable for treatment, the fifteen minute procedure will be performed immediately in the Centre’s advanced operating facilities. After the procedure they can relax in the lounge and enjoy some refreshments, before being driven home.

The Cataract Clinic’s Clinical Director, Mr John Bolger has performed over 13,000 cataract procedures to date and operates and lectures worldwide on cataract surgery
